Eudy & Lyons is a full-service real estate appraisal and consulting firm providing valuations, market and financial feasibility studies, highest and best use analyses, acquisition and relocation field services and consultations for developers, as well as institutional, governmental, and private clients. Our company operates primarily in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
It was founded originally as McAfee & Eudy in 1984 when William E. (Bill) Eudy, a commercial appraiser and former Realtor® from western North Carolina, formed a partnership with L. E. (Mac) McAfee, a residential appraiser and former banker from Oklahoma City. Mac continued to manage his well-established residential practice while Bill focused on building a commercial appraisal firm. In 1990 Bill earned an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and assumed sole ownership of the commercial division. The name of the company was subsequently changed to William E. Eudy & Associates.
Ambrose F. (Frank) Lyons, IV, a retired U. S. Air Force senior non-commissioned officer and First Sergeant, joined the firm in the spring of 2001 as a commercial appraiser. Frank, a licensed real estate sales associate, worked for two years at Market Data Center, LLC as a commercial real estate market researcher and analyst. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2003. Bill and Frank formed a limited liability (holding) company known as Eudy & Lyons, LLC, to take over ownership of the appraisal firm.
The company has always been a small "boutique appraisal firm catering to government agencies, developers, equity investors, discriminating bank clients and others who require in-depth knowledge of the local market, a high level of service, and thorough documentation of real estate values. We have endeavored to earn a reputation for accurate appraisals, quality service, and uncompromised ethics.
In recent years we have teamed with other respected firms in Oklahoma City, including Donald Wade & Associates, R/W Land Services, Market Data Research, and Stacy and Associates to handle larger assignments. Beginning in 1998, our services were expanded to include acquisition and relocation services for government agencies assembling parcels under the power of eminent domain.
